HAHNENKAMM The Race, The Slope, The Party, The Experience….

Hahnenkamm is located in Tyrol in Austria. It is part of the Kitzbühel Ski Resort and hosts the annual Alpine Ski World Cup races, the Hahnenkammrennen. The Hahnenkamm’s best-known track is the classic downhill course, the Streif (Streak), which is considered the most demanding event on the World Cup circuit. The course has very technical turns “drooping” (opposite direction), most with limited visibility. It also contains several sections of flat glide, immediately preceded by difficult turns, giving priority to technical skills and gliding. A race on the north-eastern side of the mountain, the Streif course, is mainly in the shade in January.
